Bennet is a comedy forward director based in LA. After years of producing, he launched his directing career by creating award winning comedy shorts that amassed hundreds of millions of views (WATCH: HANDJOB CABIN). His captivating visual style and astute sense of story quickly propelled him into longer form, directing shows such as Foursome for YouTube Originals and AwesomenessTV – which he also served as a producer.
Including a WGA Awards nomination (2019) for his work on Hulu’s Love Daily, Bennet has been recognized at the Saatchi & Saatchi New Director’s showcase in Cannes, The Streamys (2017) for Logan Paul VS, The Hollywood Comedy Festival (winner 2016) as well as Funny or Die, College Humor, AdAge, The Huffington Post, Tech Crunch, Maxim, Buzzfeed and most frequently, his Mom’s Facebook page.
He continues to direct, write and produce episodic series, commercials, branded campaigns and sketches for companies like: YouTube Originals, AwesomenessTV, Portal A, Comcast, Studio71, Reach Agency, Clorox, Google Chromebook, Nestle and Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks Studios among others.
Aside from directing, Bennet prides himself on mentoring aspiring filmmakers/first time directors and being from Seattle.
